How Much Should I Feed My Dog?

Badlands Ranch Beef & Salmon diet.

That diet is interesting because it’s not the usual low-carb spread, it’s 30% protein and over 20% carbs. It’s fine as long as feeding that achieves a Body Condition Score of (BCS) BCS = 4-minus

What’s a BCS 4 Minus?

See:

https://drjohnson.com/bcs/

Since that particular diet is 440c/cup and Charley is 10 pounds, you would feed 1/4 cup twice a day. And even that might be a LITTLE too much so if she got a bit rotund (BCS 4 plus) you’d cut back to 3 tbsp twice a day.

I made a list of the BEST diets you could buy face-to-face in Marietta. Several from Hollywood Feed, some from Petco, and one from Costco. The one from Costco is JUST as good as the other six.

https://drjohnson.com/diets-that-seem-to-help-or-even-fix-bad-skin-chronic-infections-and-allergies/

^^^These diets are held out as “good for skin and allergies” but in fact they are just top notch diets being free of chicken, free of grains, and they’re based on Salmon.

Then if you wanted to actually cook for your dog, the easiest and best home cooked diet is the Salmon, Whey and Sweet Potato diet. There are two versions, one is “regular Carb” and the other is “Low Carb” and both are here:

^^^ The page contains the diet RECIPES and also, the breakout sheet of all the nutrients and their percentages and actually how much to feed.

How to eat to live

A few things

1) Recognize that sugar and sugary items are NOT FOOD. THEY AREN'T FOOD AT ALL. Sugar energizes you with multiple costs. Food nourishes you with no cost for a longer time.

2) Focus on proteins. Not even lean proteins. Just proteins.

3)Discern between hunger and lack of hydration.

4) Discern between boredom and hunger.

5) Listen to your body when you DO eat. Getting full? Get ready to quit. Already full? Quit. Save it for later and enjoy it MORE. already full and can't quit? You're eating the wrong food – sugar or cheese is involved. Get away.

6) Never shy away from physical activity. Take the elevator rather than the stairs, that doesn't matter. But never say “other people have to move that desk” or things like that. Keep moving.

Everyone always said “iT's jUst uR aGe. yOu'LL c wEn u gEt oLdER. Hurrdurr” Bro, I'm 30 with a receding hairline and crunchy knees. How old do I have to get before my advice and experience is valid? LOLOL

If I exercised more and with purpose, I could eat way more, and more sugary things. As it stands though, defending my health involves cutting carbs and reducing unnecessary intake which is easy when you cut carbs. How many unflavored bites of chicken breast could you eat before you got sated? Not that many. WAY less than if it was coated with a delicious seasoning or worse, BBQ sauce (which is Satan's temptation. It's so good).

7) Recognize you are robbing your future self of future physical and emotional comfort by damaging your body. Your opinion of yourself matters and will be dictated by your regard for your meat suit.

8) Similar to above, but recognize that you're probably going to get laid more (and better) if you take care of your body. Nobody likes to think of it like this, but would you rather have a cookie every day, or would you rather get laid every day? Hmmmmmmm.

Pick whichever motivation you want, but it's a wise statement to say “if you want to see big changes, change the way you see things, not how you do things.”

Secret tip: #8 is huge. Just remember, when you put that snickers bar in your mouth, it's like spitting out a nice titty. Foolish. Just foolish.

Still, were all humans, and food be scrumptious. It's why I do so well with black/white. No carb or all carb. No carb got me where I wanted after ROUGH transition periods. Nothing else did. Nothing. So I'll take the initially painful guarantee than the forever-painful gamble or worse, the forever painful, yet sugary guarantee of poor health.

Inbreeding Doodles for a Pure Line: BAD IDEA

WhatDidYouDoodle? (The End of A Valuable Mutt?)

If you, or someone you love, ever thought about buying a “Doodle” you should read and understand THIS!

Background: Once upon a time, a person crossed a poodle with a Labrador. They got a “Labradoodle”. And it was amazing because it was a sweet, healthy HYBRID of the two parents. Which combined low shedding, high durability, keen intelligence, or a decent size without being a large breed,

And they were cute, and they looked good. And they did not shed.

Then, they bred a poodle with a golden retriever. And got a “Goldendoodle”. It was also amazing.

Since then, they breed poodles with any breed out there. And it becomes a “InsertBreedaDoodle”. And to be honest, they’re pretty cool. And they don’t shed. And they're hybrids.

This is where the story gets really upsetting.

New From 6pm.net

The lead singer of Grouplove opens for P!ink in Louisville
And wears cutesie pigtails and a pink sweater
If he was sending an LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ affirming message he would NOT have worn a haircut that was:
– For little girls
– Attractive to creepy old guys
And he would say “I’m flexing as a big musician opening for P!nk”
If MIck Jagger or Steven Tyler wore pigtails on stage even their fans would say a line had been crossed.
THEY DID COVERS OF OTHER SONGS!
Their chance to shine. They did their ONE hit twice.
Grouplove suuuuuuuucks.
